World Cleanup Day is a global initiative that unites millions of people around the world to cleanse our planet of waste.
Every year in September, volunteers, non-governmental organizations, companies and local communities join forces to fight the problem of environmental littering. The initiator of World Cleanup Day is the Let's Do It World organization, which has branches in every member country.
About the initiative
World Cleanup Day is not just a one-time event, but a movement that inspires millions of people around the world to take action for a cleaner, healthier and more sustainable environment.
This year, World Cleanup Day was added to the official United Nations calendar. This creates even greater opportunities to mobilize millions of participants to tackle the global waste mismanagement crisis.
In 2020, Poland also joined the Let's Do It World movement - represented by the Planet Heroes organization. Every year, thousands of volunteers, students, scouts, company employees, and residents of cities and villages join us and carry out cleaning campaigns throughout the country!
